When the …of the Bride TV movies aired on CBS in the early ’90s, I was definitely not part of the target demographic. But now, thanks to the fine folks at Rifftrax, I’ve seen all three of them multiple times.

The second entry in the trilogy, Baby of the Bride (originally aired December 22, 1991) starring Rue McClanahan and Kristy McNichol, sees more soap opera-esque drama befall the Becker family. And there were several casting changes as well, with Ted Shackleford taking over the role of McClanahan’s fiancée/husband from Patrick Duffy.
